This is a short story for @sgkirby 's chapters. This one is september in the rain, which is an early beatles cover song.

She always wore a white dress when Paul was around. If they were playing in the brown September leaves, he would just buy her a new clean dress. If they were walking alone in the rain and it ruined, hew would quickly take out his pocket book. But that was September. Now all the brown leaves have faded and the rain has turned to mist. The September days seemed dim to the rest of the band, like a time long ago-but that is all Paul could think about. Sitting in rehearsal, just strumming away and thinking. The girl he once knew, who wore a white, now wore another mans red. Paul and her played in the leaves while they now play in the flowers. Yet, the new couple walks in the rain as usual, and to Paul, they always will.
